My stay at Kamsa Boutique Hotel in Pretoria had its ups and downs. While the location was convenient and the bed in my Deluxe Double Room was exceptionally comfortable, I faced several challenges with service and maintenance. The morning chaos from a prior party and difficulties accessing the premises for my jog were particularly frustrating. Overall, the experience was mixed but had potential.

I stayed for two nights in a Deluxe Double Room with a Balcony, and while the bed was incredibly comfortable and the room spacious, I found several maintenance issues that surprised me for a four-star hotel. The bathroom needed a deep clean, with some visible mould, and the breakfast didn’t quite meet expectations either. Service had its ups and downs, with quick responses to some requests, but I also faced delays in getting basic items like teaspoons.

Breakfast was a bit disappointing. The food was okay but not worth its value, and the coffee was just filter coffee with foam. The breakfast room itself was spacious, which was nice.

The facilities were mixed. The room had good lighting and a lovely bath, but cleanliness and attention to detail could improve, as the extractor fan in the bathroom wasn’t working.
